We strongly believe in the wisdom of pre-planning.
Far from being morbid it shows how much you care for your family. As already stated death is a certainty and this is normally accompanied by family distress.
Those that pre-plan at least do not add to the distress nor the financial burdens of those they love. We have seen the relief when bereaved families find that the arrangements have already been selected and paid for, and again, we offer a choice of provider.
All place the funds received in designated Trust Funds with independent Trustees so the funds are protected.

Hawes ~ Goodchild Plan
Recently introduced by requests from some clients for a scheme that we control. The Funds received are still placed in an Independent Trust Fund and we take nothing from them until the funeral expenses are incurred. Through our links with many UK funeral directors we can, if the plan holder moves from our direct areas still arrange the required funeral at the new location. Naturally that is also the case for the other two recommended plans utilising the services of other Funeral Directors who are members of the relevant Association mentioned. |
There are several other schemes also available and whilst we do not currently have them on our recommended list we are happy to give you advice on them.
We strongly advise to check with us or other reputable funeral directors before signing up to any plan. People have different needs which a funeral director may better understand than a salesman. We cover the largest area possible for all our activities so even if our branches are a little distant do contact us. if we are unable due to distance, to give you the best service we can advise someone nearer who can.
Plans can be personalised, you do not need to simply have to have one of the standards offered.
